I didn't lose any weight last week, but I didn't expect to. I was just happy n ot to gain any. I enjoyed my weekend in DC to the fullest for sure! We saw alot of the monuments and memorials. THe Lincoln Memorial was amazing, we saw the Jefferson, Washington Monument, and went to the American and Natural history museum. It was amazing. I am hoping to go back to see the National Zoo because we didn't get a chance to see it and we promised the girls. The Cherry Blossoms where amazing. I thin that make the whole trip.

This week has been a little hard. I worked out tuesday, and workedout yesterday, becaue I moved an ass ton of stuff for my mom to her new place. ITs really nice to have just my little family in the house again. I love my mom but hey I need to be with my family ya know. SHe is happy to have her place, but says she is gonna miss the girls. THere ar eother things I want to say, but can't post them here, because some people can't know.

I am working on losing weight, but today my thigh was killing me. I mean I even got on elliptical to work otu but couldn't push through the pain in my thigh. Oh well hopefully the rest of the week is bet ter.

THree weeks down

So its been six days since I posted. I know its been a long time, but I have been so busy trying to get ahead for this weekend. So we can enjoy our fun weekend in DC and no freaking college homework to do. YAY ME! I have lost another 3 pounds. I am down 9.6lbs. That really makes me happy. I just wish I could just get back into the groove a little better, but I know soon I will. All this school working is just distracting me and prooving to be harder than I expected. I have completed it all and will thoroughly enjoy my weekend. So back to my rest and then working out. I did do a 20m walk this morning and 1hr at the zoo. I have been working out but not everyday like I should I will get back to it.

Day 17

So the last few days have been hard but I am trying my hardest to keep up with it all. I did 45min on the elliptical tonight. I wanted an hour but just couldn't keep up with it. My body is yelling at me to slow down. Just a busy time of year ya know. I burned about700 cal and I am happy with that. I am gonna go a few toning exercises and call it quits. I hope you all are having a wonderful time.

Two weeks down

So i have lost 1.5 lbs more so that makes a total of 6.5 so far. I am on my path to my goal. I didn't do much working out yesterday besides thrift store hopping. I mean it is alot of walking. Today was a differnt story. I spend and hour and half walking and chasing toddlers around the Botanical Garden. I then spent two hours planting rose bushing. My knees are killing me from all the bending. I sure wish i had the joints of a 26 yr old and not an old lady...I have to many sports injuries to have a painless 20s. Oh well.

Day 14



So the last day of week two is down and I am feeling ok about the week. I know I didn't do as well as I should have this week. I am getting there though. I didn't work out yesterday, because I just didnt' have the energy in me. I did make up for it today. We spent 2hrs thrift store shopping and I spent an hour on the elliptical. I burned 529 cal the first 30 min and 524 the second 30min so a total of 1054 cal today. I feel good about that. Some day I will be able to do that everyday. Well here is to a great weigh in tomorrow in the am.

Day 12


Well today went alright. I hated my biology class, but who doesn't I guess. I worked out on the elliptical and burned 544.0 cal. I felt great afterwards. Now I feel the downhill slide into a beautiful night of sleep. I love working out just before bed. I hope you all have a great night.

Day 10 and 11



So yesterday I didn't do a workout on the elliptical but I did spend 2 hrs walking around the zoo with four toddlers. That is enough workout for anyone. I probably burned just as much calories doing that then I would on my elliptical.

So today was Lyla's bday. I didn't eat well by any means. I had cake and ice cream and I folded adn had a second piece as well. Lyla said I had to have a piece of cake since I helped her make it but the second was all me. I worked out twice on the elliptical. 20min for the second for a burn of 270 calories and the first was 30min for 510 cal. I feel good about about this. I did 15min on the wii or a burn of 100 cal giving me a total of 881 cal burned. I am very happy. Off to spend time with the little ladies.

March 17h, 2010



So today is day 9 and I am so proud of myself. I think I might be becoming a bit of a fitness finatic now. I am happier than I have been in a very long time. Even if the exercising just helps with my moods I think it would all be worth it. I am extremely happy and I am happy about that LOL.

So today was so nice. I couldn't stay in this house. I had to get otu. The girls are in love with the zoo and the giraffes so we went. We walked around the zoo for 45 min and had and amazing time. The peacock was out and acting dumb again. I think he really wants a girlfriend, but there aren't any at the zoo only boy peacocks. We decided to have a picnic at the park and then play for awhile. That was fun except Lauryn decided to pee her pants. No biggy mommy was prepared. We staid there for awhile and our friend Lindsey and her daugther Kloey came to play with us. It was great. After about an hour adn half we decided to go home. Lyla helped me make her birthday cake, and even licked the spoon. I have pictures. I will post them. Then I did half an hour on the elliptical and burned 525 cal I am so happy about that. I got on the wii as well. I guess I burned around 240 cal on there....with the walking and all I think I burned probably near 900 calories. I did help lick the spoons to....so I had to kick out a few more calories. I can't wait for friday and see Lyla so happy with her birthday. She has a beautiful cake and lots of pink stuff to go around. She was determined to have an all pink party. So, I made it happen.

I meant to post even the wii says I have lost 5.1 pounds YAY.....Its always been a bit off and now its saying I have lost 5.1 lbs even right after I ate dinner. I am so happy. I hope for 2lbs next week. HEres to a happy St. Patty's day and A sexy momma in 51 wks

Day 8 and the big weigh in.....

So today was something else. I had a good day besides the darn class tonight. I really didn't want to go and the class just drug on and on it seemed. It is gonna be a lot of work but I know I can do.

I didn't want to work out when I got home and I kept trying to talk my self out of it, but my mind just wouldn't let me do it. I WORKED OUT even though I really didn't want to. I did it and I am so freaking proud of myself.

Oh and the big weight in.....I am now 5lbs down. well 5.1 I am truly happy with this and I hope I keep loosing every week and just keep making progress. yay me!

day seven....


So tomorrow morning will be my first weigh in. I was 289.9 when I weighed myself in the beginning and the wii says I have lost two pounds, but I don't weigh at the same time on it. I am going to go off first morning weighing when I get up and about in the am. Heres to hoping for at least two pounds down. I know that the first week you always lose the most and that my next weeks will slowly taper off to a steady weight loss. I measured myself finally 48.5 in waist and a 55 span on my hips. I hope they are weigh down and I can fit into a six 18 so i don't have to shop in plus sizes anymore.

Today was a good day. I went to my old work from when I was in the navy and saw some good friends. We went to lunch, yes I did eat well. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and a side of fruit. However, my girls did eat most of the fruit because thats my babies for you. I feel really good about what I ate at the restaurant. I did 30m on the elliptical and burned 503.1 calories today then I watched tv with my mom and relaxed. When tv time was done I got on my wii. I had loads of fun on it. I love the hula hooping. It's just fun. I burned about 200 calories on there. I am hoping to work up to an hour on the elliptical in the next few weeks. After this week..that starts tomorrow I am going to add 10min. I will do 30m plus an extra ten. THen the week after I will add ten min to my wii workout. I am hoping for good weather really soon so I can beginning walking on top of it all. The girls really enjoy going out and seeing all the birds and flowers so that will be great. I have a membership to both the zoo and the botanical garden so I always have other options besides the neighborhood surrounding my house. I am feeling good about this decision and I hope that with time it will get a bit easier. I want to start running outside in the fall my body permitting.

I don't remember if I put up what we did yesterday. I went to Long Horns for dinner last night and it was great. I did splurge and had a strawberry daiquiri and onion petals. I meant to work out an extra 30m for that , but by the time we got home I was beat. I had a 7 pepper sirloin salad oh and it was amazing. I think things are finally looking up for my husband and I. I just hope they keep going like they have been the last few days.

Day Six....and five


So yesterday I didn't workout. I had a friend come into town, Tot shabot, and a birthday party to go to. Be proud I had no cake at the party, and no drinking or fried food at the bar. so thats a good step right. I wanted to make up for the workout I didn't do yesterday so the husband to me and the kids to the Botanical Garden. It was loads of fun. We did a good hour walk around the place and the girls were running like crazy. I had to get Angel from religious school so I did that soon after we got home. I cam home and did my 30 min on the elliptical so no worries. I did get my workout today. I plan on doing my wii workout when we get home from Long Horns. We are taking Angel out with us because she doesn't get a lot of chances to spend time with us with the girls around. I know things will be great. I did 504.1 cal on the elliptical today so I feel good. I just need to keep it up. Thanks for all the support guys.

Day Four

So today wasn't my greatest day. I need to learn what to eat when I go out. I want to be good but its so darn tempting. I had no energy to do the 30 min on the wii today however maybe I will do an hour tomorrow to make up. I also have a birthday party for my daughters fav friend tomorrow. I hope to do well. I did do the 30 on the elliptical and burned 502 calories. I hope that the rest of my 361 days go better than today.

Day Three




So today was day three. I have to say I am extremely exhausted. I slept off and on all day. I think these workouts are getting to me. I really want my body to get use to them. I gave up fast food this week, I have done well, but I have been tempted. I am trying to stay strong. I have a girls night out sat and I hoping just to relaxing and drink water and stay away from the alcohol. I just hope the friends understand. THey are usually really supportive of me. I want to be healthier for my new career and mainly for my kids. The weight hasn't started any health problems so I am hoping to nip this in the bud before it starts more problems ya know. I want to grow old with my husband and see my grandkids graduate from college. Even though my babies are only 11, 4, and 2.

Today Like I said I slept alot. I was so tired. I did do my work out though. I did 30min on the elliptical and burned about 500 calories. My goal is to burn 500 on it every day that would be just over a pound lost every week if i do that. I also would like to do 30 min on the wii fit jsut to have some fun working out. I burned 231 cal on the elliptical today and I enjoyed it. I am still tired but happy. So i will add some pictures of my babies helping me out today lol!

Day Two **BE AWARE PICTURE OF A FATTY ON HERE***


So day two is down. Today was a good day. My mom really wanted to take the girls to the zoo. We have a membership so it cost nothing to get in and the girls absolutely love it. So we went. The weather was great. It's nice to experience it. We walked around the zoo for a good hour and half; then as we were leaving we noticed that there is a decent size park in front of the zoo so we stop to play. We didn't play long I was beat from Day one lol. The girls ran and swang and just enjoyed themselves. I am happy that we got to enjoy the day.

I did my 30 min on the elliptical. It totally kicked my ass. I burned 507 calories and then i proceeded to do my 30 min on the wii fit. Yeah it kicked me to. I burned 211 calories there. I think I burned probably 300 walking around zoo and playing with the girls at the park. I am glad I am keeping track of my exercise. This blog really helps. It gives me the motivation I need. So I think I am gonna try and post a picture of my before and hopefully in 52 weeks the after will look amazing. So heres to the Hot MAMA at 27! I think my biggest weakness is gonna be my cravings. I had to stop by the store today to get some stuff for the house and I bought some powdered doughnuts...BAD MYLYNDA!! This week I am giving up fast food. I hope I can stick with it. Next week is soda...However I am giving my self one day a week to cheat, but I am only doing one meal instead of the whole day!

Day One

Yesterday was my first day on my quest to lose 80 lbs before my next birthday. It seems like my weight has been on an uphill climb for the last 8 yrs. I was at my lightest when I got out of bootcamp. I have two wonderful children that added to the weight issue and it just hasn't stopped. Yesterday March 9 I turned 26 and I want to lose 80lbs before my 27th birthday in 365 days.
Day one. I walked Angel to school it was a 45 min walk total. I also have a wii fit and spent 30 min doing random exercises I seem to learn to the hoola hoop and I really enjoy it. I think I totaled like 250-300 cal burned on that. I did 30 min on my elliptical. I burned a total of 497 on it. I try to get atleast 500 but after the walk and wii I was exhausted so didn't quite make it. I started this blog to help me stick to my goal of 80 pounds over the next year. I will weight on tuesdays and when I get enough courage I will post a starting picture.
