
So tomorrow morning will be my first weigh in. I was 289.9 when I weighed myself in the beginning and the wii says I have lost two pounds, but I don't weigh at the same time on it. I am going to go off first morning weighing when I get up and about in the am. Heres to hoping for at least two pounds down. I know that the first week you always lose the most and that my next weeks will slowly taper off to a steady weight loss. I measured myself finally 48.5 in waist and a 55 span on my hips. I hope they are weigh down and I can fit into a six 18 so i don't have to shop in plus sizes anymore.
Today was a good day. I went to my old work from when I was in the navy and saw some good friends. We went to lunch, yes I did eat well. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and a side of fruit. However, my girls did eat most of the fruit because thats my babies for you. I feel really good about what I ate at the restaurant. I did 30m on the elliptical and burned 503.1 calories today then I watched tv with my mom and relaxed. When tv time was done I got on my wii. I had loads of fun on it. I love the hula hooping. It's just fun. I burned about 200 calories on there. I am hoping to work up to an hour on the elliptical in the next few weeks. After this week..that starts tomorrow I am going to add 10min. I will do 30m plus an extra ten. THen the week after I will add ten min to my wii workout. I am hoping for good weather really soon so I can beginning walking on top of it all. The girls really enjoy going out and seeing all the birds and flowers so that will be great. I have a membership to both the zoo and the botanical garden so I always have other options besides the neighborhood surrounding my house. I am feeling good about this decision and I hope that with time it will get a bit easier. I want to start running outside in the fall my body permitting.
I don't remember if I put up what we did yesterday. I went to Long Horns for dinner last night and it was great. I did splurge and had a strawberry daiquiri and onion petals. I meant to work out an extra 30m for that , but by the time we got home I was beat. I had a 7 pepper sirloin salad oh and it was amazing. I think things are finally looking up for my husband and I. I just hope they keep going like they have been the last few days.
